Vivelle-Dot Drug Interactions

If thyroid replacement medications or certain anticonvulsants are used together with Vivelle-Dot, drug interactions may occur. These interactions could decrease the effectiveness of the estrogen patch or increase your risk for developing side effects. Some of the other medicines that may lead to Vivelle-Dot interactions include rifamycin antibiotics, St. John's wort, barbiturates, and various antibiotics or antifungals.
