Prempro™ (conjugated estrogens/medroxyprogesterone) is often prescribed to help relieve symptoms of menopause. This prescription medication can also help prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Prempro contains a mixture of natural equine (horse) estrogens and a progestin hormone. Before taking the drug, tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking and any other medical conditions you have.
