In most cases, people do not experience any problems while taking Premarin
® (
conjugated estrogens). However, side effects are possible and may include things such as
headaches, joint pain, and vaginal bleeding. Although most reactions are minor and are typically easy to treat, serious problems can also occur.
Make sure to notify your healthcare provider if you develop serious Premarin side effects, such as vision changes, chest pain, or heavy vaginal bleeding. In addition, because some people are more likely to experience problems than others, tell your doctor about all medical conditions you have and any other medicines you are taking before starting treatment with this drug.
