Pregnenolone Drug Interactions
To help minimize the risk of developing pregnenolone drug interactions, it is important to know which medications may not be suitable to take with this specific hormone supplement. Some medications that may interact with pregnenolone include other hormone medications, benzodiazepines, and seizure medications. Some of these drug interactions with pregnenolone may decrease the effectiveness of the medications or lead to hormonal problems.
Even though it is a naturally occurring hormone, pregnenolone can potentially interact with several medicines. Some of these medicines that may lead to pregnenolone drug interactions include:
- Any hormone medication, including estrogens, progestins, testosterone, and birth control pills
- Benzodiazepines, including:
- Seizure medications.
