Some women experience memory problems as they go through menopause. If this is true in your case, ask your healthcare provider about mental exercises you can do to improve your memory. It's also important to get enough sleep and be physically active.
 

Relieving Menopause-Related Mood Swings

If you experience mood swings, try to get enough sleep and try to get some physical activity on most days. You can ask your healthcare provider about relaxation exercises you can do to help you deal with mood swings. If your mood swings are moderate to severe, your doctor might prescribe an antidepressant. There is proof that these can be helpful. You also might want to think about going to a support group for women who having similar experiences. It may be helpful to talk through your problems and fears with a professional counselor.
 

Track Your Symptoms

You can use this chart to keep track of symptoms of menopause that bother you. Take it with you when you visit your healthcare provider so you both can figure out the best way to handle them.
