Menipause

Were you looking for information about Menopause? Menipause is a common misspelling of menopause.

Menopause, a change in a woman's life when her period stops, typically occurs between the ages of 45 and 55. During this time, your body begins to produce less estrogen and progesterone, hormones that are made in the ovaries. As you near menopause, you may have symptoms as a result of the changes your body is making. These symptoms, which may include hot flashes or night sweats, can begin several years before your final period and last for months (or even years) thereafter.
