Menepause

Were you looking for information about Menopause? Menepause is a common misspelling of menopause.

Menopause, like puberty, is a normal part of life. It is the time in which a woman stops having her period. Her body slowly begins to make less estrogen and progesterone (two female hormones made in the ovaries), and she may experience symptoms such as changes in her period, night sweats, and hot flashes. For most women, menopause happens between the ages of 45 and 55. A full year without a period is needed before this condition is diagnosed.
