Were you looking for information about Menopause? Manopause is a common misspelling of menopause.
When a woman has not had a menstrual period for a full year and there are no other causes for this, she has officially reached menopause. This change is normal and typically occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55. During this time, the body gradually produces less progesterone and estrogen. These changes in hormone levels can lead to symptoms such as hot sweats and hot flashes. Menopause doesn't usually happen before the age of 40, but smoking and certain surgeries can cause early menopause.
