Evamist HRT Information

Evamist® (estradiol transdermal spray) is a prescription medication used to treat moderate-to-severe hot flashes or night sweats due to menopause. It is the first hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that comes in the form of a skin spray. Evamist is sprayed on the skin once daily, and it comes in an applicator that is specially designed to deliver the exact same dose with each spray.
 
In order to determine if Evamist is the right medication for you, your healthcare provider needs information on your complete medical history and any other medicines you are taking -- including nonprescription products, vitamins, and supplements. This product is not right for everyone, and it can react negatively with certain medications.
