Menopause Home > Is Red Clover Effective?

Final Thoughts on Red Clover Effectiveness

Although it seems reasonable that red clover would be effective for treating the symptoms of menopause (and for other uses), studies have not shown this to be the case. Further research is necessary to clarify these issues. It is important to remember that red clover is classified as a supplement (not a drug), and is therefore less strictly regulated than drugs. This means that it can be marketed without being shown to be safe or effective.
