Menopause Home > Premarin Vaginal Cream Information

Premarin® Vaginal Cream (conjugated estrogens vaginal cream) is a prescription product that works to replace the estrogen that the ovaries no longer produce. It is approved to treat vaginal inflammation caused by thinning of the vaginal tissues, usually the result of low estrogen levels after menopause. Cyclical use of the product is usually recommended, such as three weeks on and one week off.

Though generally well tolerated, this medication is not right for everyone.
