Angeliq® (drospirenone/estradiol) is a combination medication that contains both estrogen and progestin hormones used to treat symptoms of menopause, such as:
 
The medication comes in the form of a tablet and is usually taken once daily.
 
Angeliq is not for everyone. For example, it is only approved for use in women who have a uterus. In addition, because certain risks are associated with the use of this drug, it is important to review safety information for Angeliq with your healthcare provider before beginning treatment. For example, if you experience chest pain or changes in your speech or vision, you should seek immediate medical attention. In addition, tell your healthcare provider if you have ever had liver or kidney disease.
