What If I Overdose on This Medication?

People who take too much Jinteli may experience the following symptoms:
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Vaginal bleeding.

Storage Information

Jinteli tablets should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Forget a Dose?

If you do forget to take your Jinteli dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Who Makes Jinteli?

Jinteli is made by Barr Laboratories, Inc., for Teva Pharmaceuticals USA.

Available Strengths

This medication comes in one strength: Jinteli 1/5 -- 1 mg of norethindrone acetate and 5 mcg (0.005 mg) of ethinyl estradiol per tablet.
As previously stated, Jinteli is a generic version of femhrt (see Generic Femhrt). femhrt comes in two strengths, including a newer, low-dose strength. Jinteli is not yet available in the low-dose strength.
