Menopause Home > Estrase

Were you looking for information about Estrace? Estrase is a common misspelling of Estrace.

Estrace® (estradiol) can help to relieve symptoms of menopause (such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness) by replacing the estrogen the ovaries no longer produce. This prescription medication can also help with other conditions, such as preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and alleviating the symptoms of certain cancers. Before taking this medication, make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking and any other medical conditions you have.

(Click Estrace to read the complete eMedTV article, which takes a detailed look at how Estrace works, possible side effects, general precautions, and more.)
