Delestrogen Dosing for Low Estrogen in Younger Women

For treating low estrogen in women before menopause, the recommended Delestrogen dose is 10 mg to 20 mg injected once a month.

General Information on Delestrogen Dosage

Some considerations for people using Delestrogen include the following:
  • Delestrogen is injected into a muscle, usually once a month (although it can be used as frequently as once a week for prostate cancer).
  • Your healthcare provider will administer the Delestrogen injection, as it must be injected into the gluteal muscle (a muscle of the buttocks).
  • For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed.
  • If you are unsure about anything related to your Delestrogen dosage, please talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
