Jinteli is a generic version of femhrt®. femhrt has been extensively studied in clinical trials. In these studies, the side effects that occurred in one group of people taking the drug were documented and then compared to the side effects that occurred in another group of people taking a placebo (a "sugar pill" that does not contain any active ingredients). As a result, it was possible to see what side effects occurred, how often they appeared, and how they compared to the placebo.
In clinical studies, the most common side effects included:
  • Headaches -- in up to 18.2 percent of women
  • Abdominal (stomach) pain -- up to 10.2 percent
  • Breast pain -- up to 9 percent
  • Viral infections (such as the common cold or the flu) -- up to 8.6 percent
  • Nausea and/or vomiting -- up to 7.4 percent.
