Femhrt Warnings and Precautions

To help ensure a safe and effective treatment process with femhrt, warnings and precautions for the medication should be reviewed with your healthcare provider. For instance, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any existing medical conditions you have, such as epilepsy, diabetes, or asthma, as femhrt can make these conditions worse. femhrt warnings and precautions also apply to women who have certain allergies, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to using femhrt® (norethindrone acetate/ethinyl estradiol) if you have:

  • Have an upcoming surgery
  • Smoke cigarettes
  • Are overweight
  • Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
  • Are breastfeeding.
     
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
