Femhart

Were you looking for information about Femhrt? Femhart is a common misspelling of femhrt.

A healthcare provider may recommend femhrt® (norethindrone acetate/ethinyl estradiol) to treat menopausal symptoms or prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. This prescription medication is specifically designed for women who still have a uterus, and contains both an estrogen and a progestin hormone. The estrogen component works by replacing the estrogen that the ovaries no longer produce. The progestin component of femhrt helps to decrease the risk of developing cancer of the uterus. Possible side effects include headaches, breast pain, and nervousness.

(Click Femhrt for more information on how the drug works, a more complete list of side effects to look out for, and important things to tell your healthcare provider before starting femhrt.)
