Climara® (estradiol patch) is a prescription medication primarily used for the treatment of menopausal symptoms. However, it is also approved for preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and for treating hormone deficiency in younger women whose ovaries do not produce enough estrogen. Climara comes in the form of a skin patch that is changed once weekly. Before using Climara, you should let your healthcare provider know if you have cancer, heart disease, or asthma.
