Black Cohosh Use in Children

Black cohosh is generally not used in children because it is not known if the supplement is safe for this age group. As with many medications or supplements, children may be more sensitive to the effects and toxicities of black cohosh. Because black cohosh may affect hormones, it may have negative effects on children.
